First prompt for Charly Clements latest drawing challenge; fruit, wavy hair, dream.

I always enjoy a nice drawing prompt, because I always end up drawing something I never would have thought of otherwise.

Sometimes I love what I come up with, sometimes not. But either way it’s always a surprise, and that brings me such joy; the ability we have to surprise ourselves.

Also, I rarely sketch before I start drawing, but for this one I did. So for some behind-the-scenes looks, here’s the very first draft:
