Color Hunt

So I generally have a really hard time choosing colours for my illustrations. It doesn’t really come naturally to me which colours work well together and which doesn’t. And yes, the longer I do this the easier it gets and I am learning.

But I still very often get overwhelmed by the magnitude of choices and combinations available. And this has a tendency to block my flow and leave me drained of energy. Which is just no fun!

That’s when I turn to Colorhunt, and it never fails to help me. Its perfect for someone like me who enjoys smaller colour palettes and who really needs clearer boundaries with fewer choices.

Here are some tries I did using different palettes on the same illustration. Very fun experiment!
